Kid’n Around implements a balanced program that draws on a range of theorists and teaching styles adapted to suit our service and the uniqueness of individual children.
We believe that the curriculum used throughout the centre should reflect their philosophy and that is why we always value and respect children’s voices.
We believe that positive experiences in a child’s early years, lay a solid foundation for the child’s life. Our program incorporates a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials which encourage children to be active participants in their own learning journey. Our educators work together to provide children with a secure, trusting, warm and stimulating environments. Our nurturing environment and responsive care giving approaches enhance a child’s social, emotional, physical, personal, creative, language and cognitive skills supporting a child’s holistic development.
We provide a tailored high-quality play-based program that extends on a child’s interests, skills and abilities. We understand that children lean through play, exploration of their environment and through the relationships they form with others. When children play they are showing what they have learned and what they are trying to understand.
